Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with Practito. This policy explains when and how refunds are handled.

1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you subscribe to a paid Practito plan and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. This applies to:

  • First-time subscriptions to any paid plan
  • Upgrades from a lower-tier plan to a higher-tier plan (on the difference paid)

After 7 days, subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period.

2. Subscription Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. Renewal charges are non-refundable unless:

  • You were charged after cancelling your subscription due to a technical error on our side
  • A duplicate charge occurred (e.g., you were billed twice for the same period)
  • Applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires a refund

To avoid an unwanted renewal charge, please cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your renewal date.

3. Technical Failures & Double Charges

If you were charged but did not receive access to premium features due to a technical error, or if you were charged more than once for the same period, we will issue a full refund for the erroneous charge(s) promptly after investigation.

Please contact us within 30 days of the erroneous charge with your transaction reference.

4. Free Trial

Free trial periods are provided at no charge. If you are charged before your trial period ends due to an error, please contact us and we will issue a full refund.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Partial months remaining after cancellation (access continues until end of billing period)
  • Subscription renewals cancelled after the renewal date (outside the 7-day window)
  • Free tier usage — there are no charges on the free plan

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at support@practito.com with:

  • Your account email address
  • The date of the charge
  • Your transaction reference number (from your payment confirmation email)
  • A brief reason for the refund request

We aim to respond within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5–10 business days depending on your payment method.

7. Payment Methods & Refund Processing

Refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the purchase:

  • PayPal — Refunds are typically reflected within 3–5 business days
  • M-Pesa — Refunds are typically reflected within 3–7 business days
  • Pesapal — Refund timelines follow Pesapal's processing schedule (typically 5–10 business days)

We are unable to issue refunds to a different payment method than the one used for the original purchase.

8. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us first — we are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Practito after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
