Account Setup¶
Step 1: Visit the Registration Page
- Navigate to /register
- Choose your account type:
- Student - Individual learner
- Teacher - Music instructor
- Organization - School/Academy
Step 2: Fill in Your Information - Full Name - Email Address - Password (minimum 8 characters, include numbers and special characters) - Choose your primary instrument (optional) - Specialty (for teachers) - Accept Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
Step 3: Verify Your Email - Check your inbox for verification email - Click the verification link - You'll be redirected to complete your profile
Account Activation: - Free accounts are immediately active - Premium features require subscription - Organization invitations are automatically linked
2.2 Logging In¶
Standard Login:
1. Go to /login
2. Enter email and password
3. Click "Log In"
Features: - Remember Me - Stay logged in for 30 days - Forgot Password - Reset via email - Two-Factor Authentication - Optional extra security (Premium)
Password Reset: 1. Click "Forgot Password?" 2. Enter your email address 3. Check email for reset link 4. Create new password 5. Log in with new credentials
2.3 Dashboard Overview¶
After logging in, you'll see your personalized dashboard based on your role:
Student Dashboard: - Practice summary (hours, sessions, streak) - Recent pieces practiced - Active assignments - Achievement showcase - Practice goals progress - Recent notifications
Teacher Dashboard: - Student activity summary - Pending review items - Assignment status overview - Quick actions (create assignment, message student) - Top performing students - Students needing attention
Organization Dashboard: - Total teachers/students count - Organization practice statistics - Subscription status - Recent member activity - Quick management actions
Admin Dashboard: - Platform statistics (users, revenue, activity) - Growth charts - Recent registrations - Pending moderation items - System health status

Main Navigation: - Home/Dashboard - Your main overview - Practice - Browse music library - My Music - Your uploaded pieces and playlists - Analytics - Progress and statistics - Messages - Communication center - Settings - Account preferences
Role-Specific: - Teachers: "Students", "Assignments" - Organizations: "Organization", "Members", "Classes" - Admins: "Admin Panel", "Reports", "Settings"
2.5 Profile Setup¶
Complete Your Profile: 1. Go to Settings → Profile 2. Upload profile picture 3. Add bio/description 4. Set primary instrument 5. Add grade/level (students) 6. Set teaching specialties (teachers) 7. Add certifications (teachers)
Privacy Options: - Profile visibility (public/private) - Show progress publicly - Allow others to view practice stats - Display achievements
