Sharing Options

Share from Library

From Public Library: 1. Browse music library 2. Find piece to share 3. Click "Share" 4. Select students/classes 5. Add note (optional) 6. Send

Students Receive: - Notification - Direct link to piece - Your attached note - Option to add to their library

Share Your Uploads

From "My Music": 1. View your uploaded music 2. Select piece 3. Click "Share with Students" 4. Choose recipients 5. Set permissions 6. Share

Permission Options: - View only - Can practice - Can download - Can duplicate

Share via Assignment

Include in Assignment: - Create assignment - Attach specific music piece - Required vs optional pieces - Students get direct access

Sharing Methods

Individual Sharing

Share with One Student: 1. Go to student profile 2. Click "Share Music" 3. Select pieces 4. Add personal message 5. Send

Use Cases: - Personalized lesson music - Remedial pieces - Advanced challenges - Custom arrangements

Class Sharing

Share with Entire Class: 1. Go to Classes 2. Select class 3. Click "Share Music Library" 4. Choose pieces 5. Send to all

Class Library: - Shared collection for class - All students can access - Teacher can update anytime - Remove access when class ends

Organization Library

For Organization Members: - Access organization's shared library - Share organization content with students - Organization-wide music policies - Rights-managed content

Sharing Custom Material

Upload & Share Own Compositions

  1. Upload your composition
  2. Set metadata
  3. Mark as "Teacher Original"
  4. Share with students
  5. Students can practice but not redistribute

Scan Physical Sheet Music

  1. Scan/photograph sheet music (ensure copyright compliance)
  2. Upload PDF
  3. Add to student's assignment
  4. Students can view on any device

Managing Shared Content

View What You've Shared

Shared Music Dashboard: - List of all shared pieces - Who has access - Date shared - Permissions granted - Usage statistics

Revoke Access

Remove Sharing: 1. Go to shared items 2. Select piece 3. Choose students to remove 4. Confirm removal 5. Students lose access

Update Shared Files

Replace Shared Music: - Upload new version - Replaces old version for all students - Students notified of update

See Who's Practicing

Shared Music Analytics: - Which students opened shared piece - Practice time on shared music - Completion status - Performance metrics

Best Practices: - Link to licensed library content - Share only with enrolled students - Don't share outside your organization - Remove access when student leaves

Sharing Playlists

Create & Share Practice Playlists: 1. Create themed playlist 2. Add multiple pieces 3. Order by difficulty/theme 4. Share entire playlist with class 5. Students practice in sequence
